yeah.  it's cool to be a pimp, right?

Well, this is the real deal, friends.  At the annual PLAYER'S BALL in Hollywood at the Key Club this past weekend, hundreds of the biggest pimps and players from the west coast came to town for their award show and pimp convention.

I'm not kidding.  A pimp convention and award show for the men who make the most money pimping women.  And we're not talking just hundreds of thousands here.  and we're not talking per year either.  We're talking, the winners of this thing make like millions - A MONTH. 

There's a prostitute outreach at the ministry that i work for, and they go out every weekend to Hollywood and talk to the pimps and prostitutes.  So they decided to go and check out the pimp convention for themselves.

the winners receive trophies, and the absolute winner of them all received a gold and diamond encrusted goblet that he gets to keep for the whole year and then hand off to the next pimp of the year the next year.

Oh yeah.  and some of these guys kidnap girls and keep them in dog cages and have them gang raped by entire gangs while getting them addicted to drugs like crack and coke to completely get inside their minds.  This is true stuff.  Kidnap/gang rape/drug inducing.  We knew a girl that we got off the streets who had a child with her pimp.  One night he shot the 4 year old in the head and killed him.  Later, he shoved a hot curling iron up her vagina so she is now unable to bear children.

So yeah.  I'm a pimp, you da' ho.  Whatever.  but this lingo stems from real life events and this image stems from violent, greedy, evil men who roam the streets like lions looking for girls to devour...

And the surprising thing is that it's not about the lust.  It's about the greed.  Lime green pimp suits with color coordinated prostitutes, driving lime green cadillacs - the color of money.  their god is their bankroll, and their stomach is hungry as the grave.
